I am in the business of creating beautiful spaces and crafting amazing atmospheres. I love to shape a meaningful and emotional connections to the natural world and in doing so, I really like to unearth the spirit of a place, which is where gardens really become magical places. I practise a naturalistic approach to garden design. Using aesthetics and ecology to create resilient and evocative garden spaces. Creating plant rich environments that not only work with the natural world but invites nature in to be part of the experience.
With a particular atmosphere in mind and a tailored plant palette for the site we can create a unique and special garden. I will work with you to talk about what you want, then I will source the plants and with you or your gardener, set out and plant the gardens. I can design detailed plans to guide you but, for the best results recommend having me source and install your plantings from start to finish. As gardens are constantly growing and evolving, I strongly recommend seasonal visits to keep an eye on how everything is performing and help steer the garden's development, discuss progress, and continue to develop the garden to keep it on track. I am happy to instruct other gardening professionals on what needs to happen between visits.
